The Nature Zone, Ungoro Crater

The Nature Zone, Ungoro Crater

(try to imitate that one British guys voice from all those nature documentary)

Hello, and welcome to another exciting episode of the nature zone. A show in which we brave the wild in search, of some of Azeroths most exotic animals. I have Hemet Nesingwary with me, a famous hunter in his own right, to keep me safe in the event that one of these dangerous beasts decide to attack me.

First, we'll be taking a look at the diemetradon. This exquisite Beats resembles a very large lizard. It has 6 legs, for double the running capability, allowing it to catch down any prey that has the misfortune to cross its field of view. It also has these immense red spiky things coming out of its back, I'd guess to intimidate foes and attract mates. It also has a very strong jaw with 2 very long sharp teeth in its lower jaw to shred its prey into smithereens. I'm going to throw a rock at it.

(show quick shot of nesingwary saying 'wat?' real quick)

(screaming these lines)
YOU STUPID ANIMAL! I HATE YOU, YOUR MOM NEVER LOVED YOU. SHES WISHES YOU WERE AN ABORTION. YOU NEVER HAD ANYTHING BUT SUPERFICIAL RELATIONSHIPS AND NEVER FORMED CLOSE PERSONAL BONDS WITH ANYONE.

(the animal starts to attack the announcer)

Ahh it appears the beast is attacking me for no reason, hurry Hemet, shoot the beast

(pow)

Whew that was close. But that's a predetary beast for you

-Why did you throw a rock at it

I didnt throw a rock at it

-I clearly saw you throw a rock, and then verbally provoke it

I did no such thing, it attacked me of its own volition. Its a good thing you were here to save me

-ugh, whatever, just dont do it again.

I'd never dream of provoking such a dangerous animal.

(next scene)

The next exquisite animal on our adventure is the Ravasaur Runner, the fastest spieces of Ravasaur there is. These thing are capable of running up to 50 miles per hour and have very sharp claws and strong jaws to instantly disable their preys. It's also blue (throws a rock at the raptor)

(screaming)
TAKE THAT YOU STUPID ANIMAL. You must have been born on a highway, because that's where most accidents happen.
If you were twice as smart, you'd still be stupid.
(animal runs after announcer)

AHH shoot it, shoot it! its attacking me

(pow)

Whew, that was another close one, I need to be more careful today.

-I'm not stopping any other attacks if you keep provoking them

I would never dream of provoking an animal

...

The Devilsaur Queen, the true king, or Queen I should say of the jungle. A truly magnificent creature standing in at almost 20 feet tall of pure muscle. (throws a rock at it)

YOU STUPID ANIMAL! YOUR WORTHLESS, YOUR GARBAGE, NO ONE WILL EVER REMEMBER THAT YOU EVEN EXISTED. YOU'VE WASTED YOUR POTENTIAL AND DONE NOTHING WITH YOUR LIFE.

(devilsaur starts attack announcer)

Aww! its coming after me for no reason, quick shoot it!

...

(gets eaten)

-death noises-

Camera man, grab his gun and shoot this beast

...

If I die neither of you get paid!

(man dies)

-fades to black-

On the next exciting episode of the Nature Zone! (show announcers funeral) So tune in next week to see the exciting conclusion!

How to heal 101

Note - This is an abandoned script and done in notepad with no spell check. And I'm real bad at spelling.

How to heal 101

I've been healing for quite some time and I truly enjoy it more than DPS or tanking. Why? because after doing 100 attempts on the same boss as a dps I would get so bored doing the same rotation all the time while he healing would change a little everytime. I like the unpredictable nature of healing and having to react to situations rather than just following cooldowns and procs.

I was asked by a few of my subs to make a guide on how to heal for begginers and this will be that video. It'll be very basic, so dont expect to much if you've already healed before and your watching this for tips.

First off, change your mindset.its not your job to kill stuff but to keep people alive. There is no rotation, there are only different heals you use in different situations and with practice you'll find out which ones they are. That being said you also dont pop cooldowns just because they're availbe like you do as a dps and thats probably the hardest things for new healers to learn. Since they dont use their cooldowns off cooldown like they have been they tend to just forget they exist and never use them. With practice you'll change that mindset so dont worry.

Your going to have to learn how to manage your mana. Mana is something dpsers largley do not have to worry about anymore, but is still a very big concer for healers. All healers have moves that heal for a lot quickly at the cost of high mana costs. Usually you only use those flash heals in emergencies because if you use them regularly you'll go oom. Also you can't just spam your cheap heals all the time because they do not heal for a lot. You have to find a balance.

Learn what your instant cast heals are. All healers need someone to heal while moving because you dont have the luxuray to just stand still all the time.

Know the difference between your aoe heals and single target spells and how to use them. All healers have aoe spells and they all work a little differently. If everyone is spread out and moving all the time, then your healing rain might not be the most useful since its just stays at one fixed point. If however you get to stack up and still still for a long time then you should try and keep it up as long as possible.

Don't forget to keep yourself alive. While tanks are the most important person in the group, they rely on you to keep them alive. One issues a lot of new healing players have is that they forgot to monitor their own health.

Positioning. Know where all your dps and tanks are at all times. If your an avid pvper than your probably already a pro at this. Its your job now to make sure you have everyone in range of you to heal at all times, unless they absolutly have to be out of range for whatever reason.
